The

Our
visitor 'Debbie' asked our visitor 'gerry' a good question:
"Do you
graph by hand or use a software to chart the prices?"
As webmaster, I thought gerry's answer was particularly complete, interesting
and potentially valuable to our readers:
gerry:
"I don't graph at all. I get charts from commodity price charts.I keep track
of the market sentiment and the commercial activity. One of my larger trades was
based on Larry Williams book on seasonals. Acouple of the other trades were based
on Williams book 'Long term secrets to short term trades'. As far as manual charting
is concerned I used to use Excel, I would enter the daily information then display
the graphs. When I starting recieving the charts I found this to be redundant.
In a short while I am goint to get the Navigator charting software and the data
service from Genesis. I use a paper trading account from Trading paper.com, I
have been using the service for 6 months. With the KR stuff I brought that account
from 10K down to 3K( we're talking nose dive). The system was reset to 10K amd
started using the Williams course. I took a serious hit in pork bellies to the
tune os $1700.00. after that I took the account from 7K to 14K in about six weeks.
My current trades
are pork bellies because of the premium rates, soy bean oil, they are low, the
commercials are bullish, market sentiment is bearish and they are almost at an
all time low. According to the indicators feeder cattle is about to go over the
edge (meaning they are going to fall) I will close the position and may go short.
Pork bellies are comming to the end of the contract and I will close out soon.
I might go short in the march contract when the premium contract goes off the
board. I suspect the march contract prices will drop when Feb is finished. At
this timeI might go short on the feb contract.
The
only thing about Ken Roberts is that through one of mailings I was introduced
to the commodities markets. I find the connodity markets amazing. They are driven
more from need then rumors or hysteria like the stock market is.
I
have added the link for the online charts that I use: CHARTS"
