Commitment of Traders Report HERE!
Ken Roberts
Now Regulated by FTC (January
4, 2002)
It was reported
today in Silicon Alley Reporter daily email letter that:
"In a case decided last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the
District of Columbia ruled in favor of the FTC and against Ken
Roberts Company, a business that sells instructional materials
to
would-be investors in the commodities and securities markets.
The
company is already under investigation from the Commodities Futures
Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission
for
deceptive day-trading practices.
The FTC had
asked the company in 1999 to provide more information on
the advertising claims made about the efficacy of its course
materials. But the company declined to provide the requested
information, contending it had already provided relevant information
to the other agencies, and those agencies--not FTC--had exclusive
jurisdiction over Ken Roberts Company."
What do you
think of this? Let us know on our Ken
Roberts Forum!.
Good trading!
Editor-in-Chief,
Courtney Smith

A
Comparison of Popular Trading Systems
Book by Lars Kestner
"A Comparison
of Popular Trading Systems" was originally written to determine which
ideas and strategies of published authors were profitable. The systems
found in popular books usually were not rigorously tested for performance.
This manual is a vehicle to test that performance. In its second edition,
the analysis has been updated and expanded to include more ideas and
new techniques.
